During the year students are required to complete 4 laboratory experiments (as detailed above). It is mandatory that a bound lab note book (so pages are not lost) be used to document all data, sketches, results, rough graphs and/or events (problems, discoveries, etc.) which occur during the experiment. Submit this book with notes from the chosen experiment marked before your oral exam.
A lab report must be produced from these notes so write down anything you might need later. A picture is worth 1000 words/symbols so sketches or photographs taped into your manual may help you remember how the experiment was set up etc… You could also include file names and locations for digital data taken.
